The second session of the 53rd Synod will be held on 14, 16, 17, 18, 23 and 24 September 2024.
The Archbishop has indicated that he intends to convene the 2024 session on Saturday 14 September at Rouse Hill Anglican College, providing an opportunity for Synod members to participate in “Synod in the Greenfields” – including bus tours of the surrounding Northwest Greenfields area. The Synod Service and Presidential Address will also be held on this day. Please register in advance for catering and tour purposes.
The remainder of the session (16-18 and 23-24 September 2024) is then expected to be held at the Wesley Theatre on Pitt Street in Sydney with afternoon sittings starting at 3.15pm and evening sittings starting at 7.00pm on each day. Sittings usually finish around 9.30pm each night.
