Each of the candidates was proposed and seconded in the order in which their names appeared on the Final List. A free debate followed, after which the proposers replied.

At 10.52 pm, the Synod adjourned until 7 pm on Thursday 1 April.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land upon which our churches meet: from the Hawkesbury River south to Ulladulla and Sutton Forest, and west to the Blue Mountains and Lithgow. We acknowledge and pay our respects to their elders, past, present and emerging, and pray that God will unite us all in a knowledge of his Son, in whom all things were created.
