An Ordinance to remove the restrictions on Sunday trading.

Preamble

Whereas it is expedient to remove the requirement that lessees of the Glebe Administration Board covenant not to trade on Sundays except in certain specified circumstances.

The Synod of Diocese of Sydney Ordains -

Name

1. This Ordinance is the Glebe Administration Ordinance 1930 Amendment Ordinance 1997.

Amendment of the Glebe Administration Ordinance 1930

2. Clause 11(3) of the Glebe Administration Ordinance 1930 is amended by deleting all the matter appearing in paragraph (g).

Review

3. Standing Committee shall review the removal of the requirement that lessees of the Glebe Administration Board covenant not to trade on Sundays and report back to the Synod in 2002.
