The Synod Service was held in the Cathedral Church of St Andrew, Sydney on Tuesday 4 April 1933 at which the preacher was the Very Rev A E Tablot, Dean of Sydney.
Following the Service in the Cathedral, the Special Session of the 22nd Synod assembled in the Chapter House, Bathurst Street, Sydney at 4 pm on Tuesday 4 April 1933, under the Presidency of Bishop S J Kirkby, BA, Bishop, Administrator of the Diocese of Sydney. Synod held an afternoon session on Tuesday 4 April 1933, and thereafter held sessions each evening from Wednesday 5 April to Thursday 6 April 1933.
